Guru’s Dynamic Guide+ platform allows for institutions to tap into almost any onsite visitor facing digital need imaginable, so it was a perfect choice for this new, and continually evolving institution. The Wynwood team wanted to provide free timed ticketing at the onset of their grand opening to encourage high visitation and celebrate the new spaces with their audience. It was also important to quickly change that format to paid tickets after a certain time, and add tickets for special events and various membership levels.
Because the team has their minds on a long-term holistic digital strategy, the tickets needed to be available through multiple points of sale. Therefore the Guru team installed self-service kiosks onsite, created a microsite that fits right at home on the main Wynwood Walls website, and made purchase available on an app that also serves as an experiential guide complete with artist information and a map.
One of the most helpful elements of the ticketing system is the staff app. With the staff app, visitor service members and tour guides can quickly and easily see what the expected visitor flow of the day will be, when and how large both internal and 3rd party group tours will be, and scan or search purchased tickets on behalf of visitors.
